Palm Sunday.
This is officially start the Holy Week. The feast commemorates Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem.
I attended mass at Chapel of Eucharistic Lord at SM Megamall and had my Palms blessed.
The priest mentioned that there are two words that defines holy week - ABSENCE and SILENCE.
ABSENCE
It is the absence of the the Lord. It is like the feeling of when you are in need, when you ask for help and when you need shoulder to cry on... And no one is available to help you, to share their shoulders and accompany you until you became stable. The Priest said it is the way of experiencing life without the Lord - it may be full of challenges, full of difficulties and as if you aren't complete.
SILENCE
It is where Jesus changed from being a teacher and a mentor into someone who just sit anywhere and pray. Preparing for some not so good things to happen and just be strong and let Jesus take over.
May we all take time to try feeling the presence of the holyness of this week. Take this opportunity to pray and remember Jesus' sacrifices for us. This is not the moment for having tours and friend gatherings. This week should be for God. Only for Him.
